A wedding ceremony is one of the biggest events in a person's life in all cultures. In Korea, it is one of the biggest events because it includes a funeral ceremony and a celebration of a baby's first birthday.

In this photo, my friend and I are wearing Korean traditional wedding dress. In olden times, our ancestors wore this kind of clothing when they got married. This traditional dress is called a Han-Bok.

The Han-Bok is made in many shapes and colors and is designed for both men and women. The reason why I like it is that it is beautiful. In fact, it is so beautiful that it was chosen as the most beautiful traditional clothes at this year's Miss Universe contest.

I wore one style of Han-Bok at the 2004 Global Festival held at Michigan State University. I was so happy and proud to be wearing this dress and introducing our Korean tradition. I will never forget this significant experience in my life.
