The
Origin of My Name
Hengameh
Mirzay from Iran
My
first name is Hengameh. I looked in the dictionary
to see what it means in English and I found several
meanings.
They
are: tumult, uproar, and racket. For example: to
raise a tumult or to create an uproar.
My
mom named me Hengameh, but I don't know why. I
think she just liked this name.
My
name is an original name because most of the names
in Iran are Arabic but mine is not.
Many
names in Iran are Zoroastrian. Zoroastra was a
religion in Iran before Islam, so that's why a
Zorastrian name is original.
