Japanese
dances are beautiful, traditional dances. Most are
slow and don't look difficult, so we have to dance
as interestingly and beautifully as we can in order
not to bore the audiences. When I am dancing, I
become a princess, a blossom, a young girl, an old
lady, a fox, or a man. It is very real to me. I
love Japanese dances because I can become anything
I want, even the most beautiful girl in the
world!
I
respect my teacher. I want to be a great dancer
like her. Her dancing is not only beautiful and
interesting, but it is her whole life. She is very
much looking forward to me being a good dancer. She
thinks of me being her daughter, and I think of her
like my second mother.
