It
is a cozy place. When you walk in, you will see a
typical Istanbul brick oven on the right side.
There is a bar in front of it where you can sit and
eat your food.
There
are authentic Turkish decorations on the walls,
including a large painting of a port. You'll enjoy
listening to authentic Turkish music which makes
you feel like you are really in Turkey enjoying a
meal.
Istanbul
Grill serves food that is very typical in Turkey.
First of all, you should try shepherd salad. It is
made of chopped cucumber, green peppers, onions,
tomatoes, and parsley with lemon, olive oil,
vinegar, and sumac.
You
can also choose another delicious salad
which
is is made of small, white boiled beans, tomatoes,
hard-boiled eggs, onion, and olive oil. In
addition, you can also eat tasty stuffed peppers or
grape leaves.
The
soups in this restaurant are delicious. You should
try the lentil soup or the yogurt soup. For a main
dish, try one of the special Turkish kebobs.
In or a pita pizza called leihmaenn.
On
the weekends you can try a special dish called
menti. This dish is made with small dough
shells that are filled with ground beef and yogurt
and served with garlic tomato sauce and butter. It
is a special dish that is eaten in
Anatolia.
