Serving Kuping Gajah
Hariyati presents a platter of Kuping Gajah, pastries that are shaped like elephant ears.

Kuping Gajah (Elephant Ears)

Hariyati Fahey from Indonesia

These pastries are called this because they are shaped like elephant ears. They are a favorite of many people in my country. They are served at weddings, at Christmas time and at the Idul-Fitre, a celebration for Muslims (Ramadan).

They are one of my favorite foods. I like them because they have a chocolate taste.
