Mariana
Prado recommends this restaurant for its food and
atmosphere.
Churrasco's
is a very good steak house in Houston. It's located
on Westheimer and Sheppard which is quite near Rice
University. It is not a common steak house
because it specializes in South American cuisine.
When
you first go inside the restaurant, you can see
that instead of a great hall, the restaurant is
divided into rooms with different atmospheres. They
all look similar. These different rooms are very
colorful and decorated in an almost exquisite way.
Some of the white walls are filled with red or
yellow wine bottles; and cow hides are hanging on
some walls.
The
service is very good and friendly, and you don't
have to wait long to start eating. All the
waitresses are Latin American, and this makes them
specialists when explaining the different dishes.
The
menu offers specialties from different South
American countries, but the main dish served in the
house is called Churrasco. This dish is
composed of a succulent beef and vegetables. You
can choose the size of your steak according to your
hunger. There are 6-ounce, 8-ounce, and 10-ounce
steaks. For a good steak house, the prices here are
not expensive.
I
recommend Churrasco's because of its delicious
cuisine and its light, colorful atmosphere. If you
want to eat some excellent beef, go there and I'm
sure you'll be more than satisfied.
