Puerto La Cruz is not a big city, but it is very special. This beautiful Venezuelan city on the coast of the Caribbean Sea is a city of beaches.

You can go to more than fifteen wonderful beaches there. You can visit some by car and others by boat.

One beach you shouldn't miss is Vallecito Beach. It is very near the city, only 30 minutes away. It has a lot of palm trees, and you can see a mountain just behind the beach. You can climb the mountain and find another beach, or you can go swimming in the calm water. Y

ou can also rent a pedal boat and spend time in the water. It's relaxing. If you want to eat typical food, there is a restaurant where you can buy delicious sea food; or if you prefer, you can cook your barbecue there. It is allowed!

One of the most famous tourist areas in Puerto La Cruz is El Paseo Colon. You can hang out there and walk along the beach. There is a nice Italian ice cream place called Gelateria Torino. You should try their ice cream. It's yummy. If you want to go to a mall in El Paseo Colon, you can visit Plaza Mayor. It's an interesting mall because when you are there, you think that it is Curazo.

You should visit Puerto La Cruz and see what a special place it is!
