Why Do Kids Like Pokemon Things?

When kids find out the other kids have seen a Pokémon movie or have a Pokémon toy, they want to see the same movie or have the same toy.

Children learn at home from their family, at school from their teachers, and from other people in society. I think the most important influence is the behavior of their parents because for most of the kids, their parents are the example to follow.

Nowadays, people are obsessed with acquiring things. Everywhere they go, they buy something. It's like they have to buy in order to be happy; buying makes them happier. Then their kids learn this, and they also want to acquire everything they want to feel happier.

In society today, the people who have money can have everything they want; this gives them power and makes them appear more important.

For children, there is no difference. Because of the big influence of their parents, they also want to acquire things. At school they hear about the different fads and fashions; in this case, Pokémon.

So, for example, when they find out the other kids have seen a Pokémon movie or have a Pokémon toy, they want to see the same movie or have the same toy. They want to show off what they have in order to appear happier and stronger.
