I Miss Playing in the Street With My Friends Edgar Arrieta from Venezuela Photo: S. Peters When I think about those times, I really miss playing with them. When I was a child, I used to play soccer in the street with my friends. When I think about those times, I really miss playing with them. We played in groups of five and tried to make goals by organizing our teams in positions. I always played at the forward position. I remember the other team trying to stop me. Usually I fell and got hurt, but I always like the excitement of the game. We played one or two hours a day. I also miss playing hide and seek with my friends. While someone counted to 100, the rest of us had to run and hide. When the person who was it finished counting and turned around, he tried to find us. It was so exciting to try to get to base and be free. Sometimes, when I think about my childhood, I think that it would be great if I could go back to that time for just one year and experience those good times again.
