When I went to see what happened, I saw there had been a big explosion. A bus with 1.000 pounds of dynamite had destroyed many buildings around the area.

In 1990, I was living in Colombia and working close to the D.A.S (the Deparment Administrative Security). I started my job about 7:OO a.m., and I heard a bomb. Everybody was in a panic and people ran and ran from all the offices.

When I went to see what happened, I saw there had been a big explosion. A bus with 1.000 pounds of dynamite had destroyed many buildings around the area.

Also, many people died at that moment and others had disappeared. Some people's arms, hands, and legs bad been blown away. The same things happened with vehicles. I helped to rescue people and put them in ambulances to go to the hospitals.

I will never forget that day. It was very terrible for me to see how people had died or been burned and had lost parts of their bodies. This work was done by Pablo Escobar, the most bloodthirsty traffcker of drugs in the world. He wanted to kill the Director of the D.A.S but he couldn't. The director is still alive today, but Pablo Escobar has died. He was killed by the government.
