Monica Renfo from Venezuela I think that a world without commercials would be boring because people wouldn't have the opportunity to watch something new and colorful besides the TV program itself. Commercials are an important part of the TV business. As I understand it, TV survives thanks to advertising. I think TV commercials add color and humor to the normal programming. I saw a very funny ad about security in which a man was trying to prevent someone from stealing his car. He put chains on his car and went to a party, but someone took the car away from him, chains and all. Radio
commercials can also be funny and entertaining.
Without them, we would have more music, which is
very nice, but then we wouldn't be able to hear
about traffic situations and sales in big stores. I
think we need commercials, just not too
