Do
you think children should have pets? My family used
to keep dogs, fish, flying squirrels, and hamsters.
From that experience, I recommend that parents let
children have pets. Caring for pets teaches
children responsibility.
For
example, they must feed the pet, take it for a
walk, and clean it. It teaches them how to be
gentle with all kinds of animals and how important
it is to care for all living beings. They learn
there are no differences between animals and
humans.
Pets
also help children to relax and be calm, and they
make children smile. I am always happy when I see
children with pets because I know they are learning
how to care and love.
