A Car Accident

Jung Lee from Korea

Four years ago, I had a big car accident in Korea. My friend and I were on the way home from my friend's school because we had studied in her school's library. While my friend was driving the car, I sat on the passenger side.

Both of us were a little tired, and I had my eyes closed when she wanted to change lanes. She didn't notice that a truck was in the next lane. Unfortunately, neither did I. The back of our car was hit by the front of the truck, so our car started spinning around on the freeway.

Luckily, we didn't get hurt in the accident and didn't hit any other cars. Also, the truck driver was very nice. I think that we were really lucky at that accident. I learned to always watch out and be careful when driving a careven as a passenger. Car accidents can happen anytime to any of us.
