Jie Liu Vivi from China Being a twin makes a person feel very proud. Whenever people talk about twins, they always associate them with intelligent interaction (a special kind of intelligence between them). Therefore, I always ask myself if that is a function that any person can have. The answer is positively NO. Only twins have it. Amazingly, it is possible for most twins to come up with the same words or to have the same reaction, and even to have the same answer to one particular question. However, having a twin sister or brother is not only a matter of intelligent interaction. There are also certain important benefits of having someone who looks just exactly like you. I myself am a twin, and I remember that when my sister and I were children and someone treated one of us badly, we always beat up that person together. And we both got on teachers each time they called on us in the classroom. Furthermore, no one could tell us apart. Even our parents were confused at night time when we were sleeping. The only way they could tell who was who was by memorizing the places where each of us used to sleep. All those kinds of things are funny and unforgettable. In addition, having an identical sister or brother is really helpful for both of you. There is a special friendship between twins like me and my sister. We don't have any secrets between us at all. When one falls down or something, we feel uncomfortable. The other one is always a good mirror to look at and to talk to just like one talks to oneself.
The result was neither of us got it. It was either broken by us, or hidden away from us by our parents to stop the noise we made. Now that we are grown up, we don't fight anymore, but there is still a problem for my sister and I. It is hard for us to accept a third person to be a close friend. We are still trying to figure it out. I think this problem might not be solved until we both get married. Well,
I think that is all I want to say about the feeling
of being a twin. No matter if it is good or bad for
us, we have always had fun together. I am proud of
having a twin sister. Most people don't really know
what it's like to be twins. If one day they could
have a twin, they would understand exactly, and
they would love each other from the bottom of their
