Students write about an imaginary cheating incident. Note the idioms and expressions they used to describe this situation. They are in bold print.

The teacher is always watching me like a hawk. I just don't like her at all.

On Tuesday, there will be another chemistry test; however, I just don't like this subject. There are a lot of formulas that I have to cram into a short period. Although I have already prepared my crib sheet and programmed answers into my calculator, there is still no way I can cheat this time. The teacher is always watching me like a hawk. I just don't like her at all. She is always staring at me, and I think she probably knows I cheated before, or maybe I just have the cheater look. There is no likelihood that I will get away with it. I'll probably get caught. Well, I think I should study at least a little.

Note: In the photo above, Kung-Yi , Martha, Nelma and Graciela simulate the cheating incident in this story.
