The Grandmother I Knew Blanca Salmerón from El Salvador My grandmother is a sweet person. She is 88 years She was born in El Salvador, and she is still living there. I remember when she was around 70 years old. She always liked to cook her favorite food like chicarrones. Every morning when it was very early, she liked to go to the supermarket. She said that going shopping early in the morning was better because she could find everything fresh such as vegetables and fruits. I think she was right about that. After my grandmother bought everything, she used to go to a mini restaurant to eat rice with milk and then she came back home. She is a cute person. She is nice to everybody, but now everything is very different than 10 years ago because she got sick. Now she can't move by herself, so she doesn't go out anywhere. I would like to be with her, but I want to stay with my parents, too. It's a difficult situation, isn't it? I really miss her. That's all I know.
