Red
Beast or an Angel?
Vera

I
think I have inherited my mom's passion for cats.
Her mother had an attitude that if the house has
less than two cats, you can not name it as a "sweet
home." However, in some situations you have to
think about those who make that home
sweet.
It's
not so easy to be a wife of a business man. For six
years we had never stayed in one place more than
two months. That's why we decided not to have a cat
because it is not fair for the kitty to travel so
often.
We
solved the problem with the idea of taking cats'
pictures. So, not only did I find a hobby, but I
also developed some skills as a photographer. And
of course it became a part of our journeys and made
both of us happy. But sometimes hobbies can involve
us in unpredictable situations. That is why I will
remember this cat forever.
September
in Bakku (the capital of Azerbajan) is very
pleasant. Not hot, not cold, just right. Many
little outdoor restaurants and tea cafes, the sound
of Asian music, the smell of grilled salmon and
lamb bring the city that special colorful
atmosphere and exotic appearance.
While
we were enjoying all the pleasures that middle
eastern food can bring, the red silky beast was
meowing his begging song and walking around our
table. I couldn't resist and gave him all my
"lyulyakebob" dish. Thank Heavens. As a result, I
didn't have any stomach ache after all, but my
husband did. You have to be very careful about food
when you are traveling.
But
if you think that this cat saved me, think again.
Next, I was waiting for my Honey in the taxi when I
saw the "Red Beast" exposed and ready for my
picture taking. I grabbed the camera and left my
purse with our passports, tickets, my jewelry and
money on the back seat of the car. I was so excited
that when I turned around, I was surprised because
I didn't see the car.
"I
let him go; we'll take a walk," my husband
explained. Next, we panicked and tried to find a
policeman To make the long story short, the taxi
driver came back in forty minutes. Our luck. He was
very honest and didn't even open my
purse.
So,
what do you think? Was it a real "Red Beast"? Or
maybe it was an angel who let us see how much we
have and understand each other because we were so
close to haing an angry argument, but we didn't
even blame each other.
This
emergency situation showed that we can feel each
other's pain and forgive the mistakes that have
been made. I personally believe that I met an Angel
in Bakku.
