The
Story of Jeapsy
Vera
Titov from Russia
Some
very good friends of ours have two cats. This story
is about one of them named Jeapsy. The owners call
her Big Girl. Oh yes, I was so sure the
first time I saw her that it was a male cat because
of her size.
Our
friends are having a problem with Jeapsy. She has a
voracious appetite, and they are trying to keep her
in good shape and a healthy condition. But Jeapsy
took it for granted.
One
early morning the door bell woke up our happy
family. The lady who lives next to them brought
Jeapsy back home. What happened is that that lady
also has a cat, and she even arranged for her cat a
special tiny gate to her house, so kitty could walk
in and out without asking permission.
That
very morning their poor neighbor got a scare. She
felt her cat sit on her chest, but when she opened
her eyes, it wasn't her cat. It was Jeapsy! She
swore, and she was screaming for a moment. So I
said to my friends, "You have to give her enough
food, or your Jeapsy will find another
owner.
