Students Do Volunteer Work Volunteer work is spreading around the world. More and more students around the world are volunteering to help others and to carry out worthwhile projects. Read about the volunteer experiences of three students from Japan. International Work Camp in Japan Miho Kashiwagi from Japan planted trees with other international students in Minamata, Japan. International Wheelchair Tennis Championship Nariyuki Kanegae from Japan assisted two New Zealand tennis players in wheelchairs at a championship game in Fukuoka, Japan and made good friends. Volunteer Work with Children Takashi Shii from Japan volunteered to work with Canadian children in an after-school volunteer program.
