Chatting Made My Dream Come True Carlos Gomez from Mexico Photo: Tod Ellsworth Carlos Gomez,the student on the right in this photo, was thrilled to talk to people from Merida, San Diego, and Boston. I chatted in Internet for the first time yesterday. I was very excited, waiting for my chance for typing in the computer and talking with someone in any place of the world. Tod, our program coordinator, gave some explanations while he was trying to connect the computers to the Net. When he finally could, I had the opportunity to make real one of my dreams. I could talk with people from Merida; San Diego, California; and Boston, Massachussets among others. I felt surprised a lot about the technology's development these days. I have a computer in my job, but unfortuately we are not connected to the Net. I hope we'll be able to do that as soon as possible.
